Yesterday, I woke up with a slightly sore throat.  It wasn’t anything, I figured it would go away as the day went on.  By that night, I thought I was dying.  It hurt so much to swallow or talk or anything lol. I couldn’t sleep last night cause I couldn’t swallow so I kept waking up and i would be drooling everywhere hahaha.  I woke up at 3 in the morning and decided to make an appointment to see a doctor.  Some friends of mine have strep, and I was afraid thats what I had.  So, I went and saw the doctor today, and the nurse who did all the pre-work was a bitch.  She asked me if I was on any medications, so I told her which ones I was on, then she said any over the counter stuff.  I said no, then remembered that I had taken Tylenol that morning, so i told her that, and she said thats a medication in a really mean tone.  Then she had to swab my throat and she like raped me with the swab things.  I kept trying to move away from her, but she was holding my head in place lol. Then the doctor came in and looked at my throat, and he was like wow, thats nasty looking lol.  The culture came back and it turns out that i didn’t have strep but i did have an infection in my throat.  he didn’t say what kind of an infection, so who knows what it actually was.  probably herpes or something lol.  I got some pills to help with the pain and the swelling, and i took them and they made me sooo sick.  It felt like they were burning a hole in my stomach.  But they did work.  The swelling went down and it didn’t hurt to swallow anymore, but after like 4 hours, my throat got a little swollen again, but its not as bad as what it was.

On a more positive note, I got my old job back.  I wont be cutting wheat anymore though, I’m going to be doing soil analysis stuff, so i’m kinda excited for that lol. plus i need the money really badly.  I borrowed money from my mom to buy some books, so i need to pay her back for those.

On Friday, my mom and I made the trek across the state.  It was such a long drive as usual.  We made it a little longer by stopping off along the way and doing some shopping, but thats ok.  We got back around 8 on Friday night.  I was so exhausted that as soon as I un packed the car, I crawled in bed and fell asleep.  Sleeping with my mom is the hardest thing ever.  She likes to take up the entire bed, and she woke me up several times that night to tell me that it was super cold lol.  On Saturday, we went out and did some shopping.  Every time she visits, she always says that she wants to explore Moscow, but we never do.  So on Saturday, we drove through Moscow so she could see it.  We ate at the sandpiper restaurant for breakfast.  It was super good.  I got biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns, the gravy was the best thing I’ve ever eaten.  Then we went and got some school supplies and groceries and then we stopped at Macy’s cause they were having a one day sale.  I got a new bra for $10, originally $40.  So that was an amazing deal.  Then we went back to the apartment and unpacked everything.  My mom left and had to make the drive back to Oly all by herself.  I would hate to make that drive alone.  Its so long and boring lol.  After she left I unpacked all my stuff and organized.  Then I had nothing to do, and there was nothing on tv.  My roommates didn’t get back until about 2 in the morning.  This place is kinda creepy at night when I’m all alone here.  Today has been kinda boring.  I re-arranged my room and moved my bed so that I have more room now.  Its really nice.  Tomorrow school starts.  I have class everyday at 9:00 in the morning.  I think that it will be ok, I don’t like having class early, but it will work.  I need to figure out where all my classes are.

Today I had my very last final for the semester.  Today was such a long day, I woke up early and did nothing all day except study and take tests.  I finally finished a little after 9:00pm.  The week started off with a crops final.  Except we didn’t have a final, we have been doing presentations for the past week, so our final was to come to class and listen to 6 presentations.  It was soooo boring.  I brought some stuff to study with, so it was alright.  Then on Tuesday I had my math final at 3:00pm.  So I got up early and went to the library and studied my butt off.  The test wasn’t too bad. There were some things that I couldn’t remember how to do.  I remembered some of the steps, so I did parts of them, so I will still get some points at the very least.  Then today, I got up even earlier than normal and went to the library and studied for econ.  That test went all right also.  The stuff that we have done since the last test was hard for me, but everything else was alright.  Then I had a little over 4 hours to study for my last and final test, Chemistry.  I studied all of the homework, cause he said that he would be taking 3 questions from each of the homework assignments and that would be our test.  It was a super hard test.  The first three pages I did good on, but then it went down hill after that lol.  I think that I still did alright.  Just not as good as I probably would have liked.  But I’m all done now, and that’s all that matters lol.

On a very positive note, I sold back my math and econ books today.  They gave me $60 for my math book, and I bought it for like $80, so that is an amazing buy back.  Then for my econ book, they aren’t using it again for next semester, but they still bought it back for $30.  I have been told in the past (at western) that they weren’t going to be using a book again, so they give me like $5 for it, and then they end up using it again.  So I was very surprised that I even got anything back for it.  And I sold my chem books to a girl, so I will be meeting up with her tomorrow and I will be getting $55 for them.  Which is still pretty good.  I’m happy, cause now I have some money to last me till Christmas.

Over Christmas break, me and Angeline were talking, and we want to have an ugly sweater party.  I’m super excited, cause I’ve never gone to one before.  I want to find the most hideous Christmas sweater ever :).  And play games from when we were little, like mash and 10 fingers and cranium (ok, so only one of those games was from when we were little, but whatever).
